From the tables you see the mouth of the Bosphorus and the Old City skyline (Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı); the sun sets on the opposite shore — behind Seraglio Point in winter, behind the Beyoğlu hills in summer. How to get there
Boats to the Maiden’s Tower leave from Salacak and Karaköy. Back on the Salacak side, follow the waterfront road; Filizler Üsküdar is at Harem Sahil Yolu No:61 with the tower straight in front.
The tower stands on an islet about 200 m offshore; from Filizler’s tables it is about 280 m across the water.

- In December and January the sun sets right behind the tower when seen from Filizler.
